By using Vita Edge Care’s telemedicine services, you understand that care may be provided through secure electronic communication, including video, phone, messaging, electronic forms, and patient portal tools.Telemedicine may improve access and convenience, but it has limitations. A virtual visit does not allow for a hands-on physical exam, in-person testing, imaging, procedures, or emergency intervention.
Vita Edge Care is committed to protecting your health information. We use secure systems designed to support patient privacy, documentation, communication, electronic prescribing, and care coordination.
Your health information may be used or disclosed for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, legal requirements, regulatory compliance, and public health purposes.
We do not sell protected health information.
STATE LICENSURE
Telemedicine services are provided only when the patient is physically located in a state where the Vita Edge Care provider is licensed and legally permitted to provide care at the time of the visit.
Patients are responsible for accurately reporting their physical location before and during the visit.
PRESCRIPTION POLICY
Prescriptions are issued only when medically appropriate, legally permitted, and supported by clinical judgment.
A telemedicine visit does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.
Your provider may decline, modify, discontinue, or recommend an in-person evaluation for any medication request based on safety, medical history, drug interactions, state law, federal law, or standard of care.
Controlled Substance & High-Risk Medication Policy
Vita Edge Care follows applicable state and federal laws, including DEA requirements and the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act.
Vita Edge Care does not routinely prescribe controlled substances or high-risk medications through
standard telemedicine visits.

Care may be declined or redirected if telemedicine is not clinically appropriate.
Vita Edge Care does not provide emergency medical services. Do not use this website, contact form, patient portal, or virtual visit system for emergencies.
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room for chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reaction, severe injury, suicidal thoughts, or any life-threatening symptom.
Vita Edge Care is currently a self-pay practice. Payment is required before or at the time of service. Pricing is displayed before purchase or booking.
Refunds are not guaranteed and may depend on whether the visit occurred, whether provider time was reserved, whether services were initiated, and the timing of cancellation.
Missed appointments, late cancellations, completed visits, lab orders, and medication-related services may be non-refundable.
Insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Vita Edge Care memberships are direct-pay healthcare access plans. They are not insurance and do not
replace health insurance.
Memberships may include a monthly visit allowance, secure messaging access, preventive care support, and care coordination, depending on the selected plan. Unused visits do not roll over. Services outside the membership plan may require a separate payment.
